Welcome to Dharma Kueen MiniZine
This mini zine is where glitter meets the Dharma, a playful yet profound space where Buddhist notes mingle with queer and LGBTQ+ experiences. Dharma Kueen is more than a name. It’s a reimagining of spiritual life that refuses to separate robes from sequins, sutras from self-expression, or wisdom from fabulousness.
Through reflections, stories, poetry, and shimmering insights, this zine invites you to see that queerness isn’t outside the Dharma, it is already woven into the path.
Dharma Kueen is published every three months, bringing fresh notes, stories, and fabulous Dharma realness four times a year. If you’re lucky, you might be able to snag a physical copy at selected spaces. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Issue 1
In our very first issue, we’re serving up a question that’s juicy, personal, and oh-so universal: What does my queerness have to do with Buddhism? The answers? Think layered like a rainbow cake, tender like your bestie’s hug, and unapologetically queer.

How to make a Zine
Print the zine layout on A3 paper (landscape orientation, double-sided).
Fold the sheet in half lengthwise (hotdog style).
Unfold, then fold it in half widthwise (hamburger style).
Fold each end toward the center fold, so you now have 8 equal panels when unfolded.
Cut along the center crease (only the middle two panels).
Fold the sheet back lengthwise and push the pages together to form a booklet.
Now kick back, sip your tea, and let these insights sparkle through your mind and heart. 🌈 So flip through, laugh, ponder, and sparkle with us. The Dharma has room for every shade of the rainbow.
