My journey sparkled into being as a humble Buddhist temple guide, before plunging headfirst into the shimmering depths of Buddhist philosophy and psychology. The Dharma still dazzles me every day, showing that wisdom and compassion are the fiercest power couple.

That inspiration led me to create Kusala Magazine, a space where Buddhist teachings meet real-life challenges and mental health with clarity and heart. Yet as a queer gay Buddhist, I longed for more inclusivity, so I birthed my glittering alter ego, Dharma Kueen. A drag-inspired persona where the sacred struts confidently in both robes and sequins.
Through essays, poetry, travelogues, and books I’ve written, I’m exploring Buddhist teachings not just as philosophy but as lived, embodied, and fabulously queer experiences.
