Inspired by drag culture and the playful power of language, “Dharma Kueen” is a pun on “drama queen.” Swap the drama for dharma, and you’ve got a bold, queer reimagining of spiritual life — one that wears robes and rhinestones with equal grace.

Through essays, poetry, travelogues, and books I’ve written, I’m exploring Buddhist teachings not just as philosophy — but as lived, embodied, and fabulously queer experiences.

Dharma Kueen is not just a writing identity, but also a publishing platform dedicated to uplifting LGBTQ and queer Buddhist voices. Beyond my own essays and books, I support queer Buddhist writers in bringing their work to life through thoughtful editing, book design, and illustration. My aim is to ensure their stories are not only spiritually grounded, but beautifully presented and professionally published.
